The Fishing Club

These boys were the founding members of the fishing club, which started in Webb-Jones time (he wanted all the boys to find constructive things to do rather than just mooch around).

They are standing outside a picturesque wooden shed in the grounds behind The Wing. We called it the Summer House and these boys stored their fishing tackle in it. It smelled of creosote & also contained the tennis nets. Later, in the 1960's, it was demolished to make way for a much larger building.
