Christmas Carol Services - 1972


The school provided the boy trebles in the choir at the Royal Naval College Chapel. For the choristers the carol service was a special event starting at the West door with a solo carol. The whole choir then processed up the nave in darkness except for the glow emananting from the candle-lanterns carried by the boys.

St. Clement Danes in the Strand in London is the R.A.F. church with which the school also had connections (see the note below).







Vanbrugh Castle Choristers proclaim the message of Christmas at St Clement Danes. The Chaplain-in-Chief of the R.A.F., the Ven. L.J.Ashton, stands in front of the alter.
